What better way to start a chilly, dark and damp Sunday morning in October than to cycle 55 miles from London to Milton Keynes? Some would rather be snuggled in bed with a cup of tea, but not J&P Marketing Manager Wayne Coulter, he was ‘up and at them’ early with his partner, and around 300 other cyclists.
They set off from Alexandra Palace on the 20th October, and cycled through the country lanes and quiet roads of Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire – finishing at the MK Dons Stadium in the heart of Milton Keynes, several hours later. All in the name of charity. The British Heart Foundation organised the event, which is a brand new edition to the list of cycle rides organised by the charity, and finishes off the season as their last ride of the year.
